The group is fully responsible for this project.
We are developing this board in ATCA (Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture) format: 280 mm depth and 322 mm height. This board will be equipped with an array of 12 FPGAs, such as AREA Cyclone 10, each of which has 12 transmit fibers and 12 receive fibers to send LHC clock information as well as control and monitoring signals to liquid argon calorimeter on-detector electronics. It is crucial that the 40 MHz LHC clock signal is distributed with very low jitter, with an RMS of less than 5ps. About 40 such cards should be produced in 2024-2025.
