MUST is a shared mesocenter between CNRS / IN2P3 and Savoie Mont Blanc University. It aims at processing and archiving data in particle physics, astrophysics, theoretical physics, materials science, earth science, computer science, artificial intelligence … Via EGI, the European Grid, MUST is a “Tier2” center for the CERN LHC Collider (WLCG) and provides its resources to other international experiments such as CTA and LSST. MUST also offers to support companies in their digital transition through the IDEFICS project.

The MUST platform holds its annual steering committee
MUST, the Scientific Computing and Data Infrastructure of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) and the CNRS, presented its results and prospects during its steering committee on April 10, 2024.
As a reminder, MUST can provide the latest generation GPU resources for Artificial Intelligence, high-performance computing resources and obviously all the storage you could need. These resources have already been essential for IDEFICS Artificial Intelligence support projects, including industrial partners, such as ADTP et Heliocity.

MUST users meeting on October 25, 2022
The MUST team is happy to invite all users to attend the “Fall MUST Users Meeting” at LAPP. This invitation also concerns all the persons using the interactive servers : lappui, lapthui or lappusmb. The meeting is open to anyone belonging to or associated with one of the University Savoie Mont Blanc laboratories, even if not using - yet - MUST mesocentre.
This meeting will be an opportunity to present the improvements of the MUSTFS data storage service and the evolution of the MUST interactive portal thanks to the implementation of a notebook service.
