The LAPP offers school groups and associations visits to the laboratory, the Eutopia space or the high-performance computing and storage centre called MUST.
School visits
On the occasion of Women and Girls in Science Day or "Antimatter" Day, LAPP physicists visit schools to introduce the youngest children to their daily lives.
Fête de la science
On the occasion of the Fête de la Science, the Annecy Laboratory for Particle Physics (LAPP) and the Annecy-le-Vieux Laboratory for Theoretical Physics (LAPTh) open their doors every other year. Middle and high school students from the surrounding area are welcome during the week and the general public at weekends.
On the programme for these festivities: visits to the Eutopia multimedia discovery area, the MUST computing centre, meetings with scientists, conferences, virtual reality helmets, zetetics workshops, etc.
